Enterprise Server Operations & Administration

• Implement, configure, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments across multiple versions, including Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Provide Tier 2+ escalation support for complex server, hardware, software, network, and application issues.
• Manage backup and restore solutions, file sharing services, permissions, ACLs, and disaster recovery readiness.

Active Directory, IIS & Security Management

• Administer Active Directory, domain controllers, GPO, DNS, DHCP, directory services, system accounts, and service accounts in a multi-domain enterprise environment.
• Design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot advanced IIS deployments, including application pools, SSL/TLS certificates, URL rewrite rules, reverse proxying, load balancing, and performance tuning.
• Apply security best practices, compliance policies, least-privilege access control, and patch management processes.

Hybrid Infrastructure, Automation & Documentation

• Manage virtualization environments such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V, including performance, availability, and capacity planning.
• Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot server workloads across AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation workflows, implement remote management tools, maintain CMDB records, and create technical documentation, runbooks, topology diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support, emergencies, 24/7 operations, and routine maintenance.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator in a complex corporate or enterprise environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server administration, implementation, troubleshooting, lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, and enterprise server operations.
• Advanced expertise in Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS, PowerShell, Windows Admin Center, Remote Desktop Services, RSAT, backup/restore solutions, and disaster recovery methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting workloads in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong skills in automation, remote management, monitoring, documentation, CMDB maintenance, diagnostics, and technical troubleshooting.

Language / Other Requirements

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and across technical and non-technical teams in a distributed global organization.
• Highly desirable certifications include MCSE, AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), VMware VCP, or equivalent.
