Fixed Assets, General Accounting & Period-end Closing

• Manage fixed asset sighting, asset tagging, FA/ROU asset request processing, FA budget monitoring, and FA reports or schedules.
• Perform and manage general accounting, including journal control lists, standard and manual journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany JVs, depreciation, lease liability, and procurement-card journals.
• Process period-end adjustments, including payroll-related bank entries, doubtful debt provision, treasury shares, tax provision, and foreign currency revaluation.

Financial Reporting, Planning & Budgeting

• Perform monthly Hyperion reporting, prepare schedules for the consolidation team, reconcile intercompany balances, prepare balance sheet schedules, trial balance, and financial statement analysis.
• Handle cost accounting, project costing, stock obsolescence provision, warranty provision, and inter-department cost allocation.
• Support forecast and budgeting activities, including template preparation and Hyperion data inputs.

Year-end Activities, External Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination

• Handle year-end accruals for external vendor invoices not recorded by the Procure-To-Pay team.
• Prepare year-end schedules for the consolidation team and perform year-end rollover in SAP.
• Support external reporting for statistical purposes.
• Interface with auditors, internal customers, business users, and related stakeholders.
• Manage the team and perform related supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience

• Good degree in Accountancy from a reputable university; Chartered Accountant, CPA Australia, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant financial reporting experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong financial reporting, general accounting, fixed asset management, period-end closing, reconciliation, and financial statement analysis skills.
• Experience with SAP FICO, Oracle Hyperion, BlackLine, and Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently, manage tight timelines, and interact well with business users and co-workers.

Language / Other Requirements

• Good spoken and written English.
• Willing to work across different time zones.
• Able to adhere to calendar day deadlines with flexible off and rest days.
