Oversee the software services function for the Vietnam Competency Centre (VCC), ensuring smooth delivery of software services to the business.

Collaborate and partner with various stakeholders to formulate product roadmaps, overall implementation, roll-out, and adoption strategies for digital projects/products.

Manage timelines, mitigate risks, and navigate changes.

Service Delivery Management:

• Define and refine delivery frameworks, including solution creation, work productivity enhancements, and people capability development.
• Create delivery efficiency models focusing on cost optimization through quality, productivity gains, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure timely project execution within budgets.
• Review and monitor lifecycle processes for critical projects and oversee compliance for all other projects (schedule/effort overruns, customer issues, quality parameters, operating margins, risks, etc.).
• Ensure effective delivery through regular business reviews and risk mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the Point of Contact (PIC) for all escalated issues.

Driving Operational Excellence:

• Collaborate with all project stakeholders to ensure on-time execution of BAU/project activities.
• Take ownership of the project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and adherence to budget constraints.
• Monitor project status and employee performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues that may impact operations.
• Troubleshoot issues dynamically and provide alternative solutions.
• Foresee and highlight potential issues to management, providing solution options.
• Establish new processes and controls to increase overall team productivity.
• Maintain high standards in documentation and versioning for all system changes.
• Define and refine dashboards to capture key parameters, establishing systemic monitoring for operational health and timely risk remediation.
• Continuously improve systems and processes to provide analytical intelligence on operating parameters.
• Review C-SAT results and drive improvements within the Delivery organization.
• Manage vendors, ensuring adherence to group standards and delivery of high-quality services.

Resource Management & Talent Development:

• Manage IT professionals, ensuring optimal resource utilization and allocation across projects.
• Develop and foster a positive and professional working environment, promoting a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the recruitment of the right talent and maintain a high level of employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Deploy robust performance management processes with competency and career development opportunities.
• Provide ongoing informal and formal feedback through the annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience supervising an Application Management Team.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in establishing new teams (recruitment, technical assessment, cultural fit evaluation).
• Extended background in large organization (500+ employees) governance processes and ability to adhere to governance guidelines.
• Extended knowledge of low-code platforms, cloud computing, microservices, AI, and various modern technology stacks.
• Good understanding and experience with various frameworks and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Experience in resource allocation, utilization, and vendor management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in building and maintaining a positive and professional team culture.
• Excellent communication/stakeholder skills and emotional intelligence to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts, and build consensus.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous and complex environments, with the ability to analyze, make decisions, and overcome challenges.
