Live Payments is seeking a talented and experienced Technical Writer to join our growing/multi-national team. Reporting directly to our Vietnam based PMO Lead, the Technical Writer will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation and user guides that effectively communicate complex technical concepts to our customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and transform it into clear and comprehensive documentation.

Core duties include:

• Research, gather, and understand technical information from various sources, including engineering specifications, product prototypes, and interviews with subject matter experts.
• Write and edit user guides, installation manuals, API documentation, release notes, and other technical documents to meet the needs of different audiences.
• Organize and structure information in a logical and user-friendly manner, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other team members to ensure technical accuracy and completeness of the documentation.
• Collaborate with the marketing and customer support teams to create effective content that aligns with the company's brand and messaging.
• Take part in the product release process, continuously update and maintain existing documentation to reflect product changes, enhancements, and updates.
• Conduct regular reviews and quality checks to ensure consistency, adherence to style guides, and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications and experience

• University Degree Qualified in a Tech or Business field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role, preferably in the technology/payment industry.
• IELTS 6.0 or equivalent would be beneficial.
• Experience working in the payments and/or financial services industries an advantage.
• Experience working with Australian customers and understanding the Australian culture is an advantage.
