Job Description
The Android-TV Project Leader will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to the development and manufacturing of Android-TV based set-top boxes (STBs). This involves collaborating closely with the headquarters (HQ) in South Korea, the engineering team, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Scope Definition: Collaborate with HQ and the engineering team to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain regular communication with HQ and the engineering team, providing updates on project progress, potential challenges, and risks.
- Project Execution & Management: Develop and manage a detailed project plan, including task assignments, resource allocation, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Project Tracking & Monitoring: Track project tasks, estimations, scope of work assessments, and overall progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience from a reputable engineering college.
- 5+ years of experience working in a development team focused on Android-TV based STB projects.
- 3+ years of proven experience in project/product management within a technology development environment.
- In-depth knowledge of STB manufacturing processes, development procedures, and relevant technologies.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team, effectively managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience in developing on the Android TV platform.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
