Job Description
- Plan, organize, and integrate cross-functional IT projects that are significant in scope and impact, ensuring successful implementation according to project goals and objectives.
- Coordinate the work of IT professionals, business users, and administrative staff to produce new applications or infrastructural systems.
- Manage people and time resources, seeing projects through from inception to completion.
- Ultimately responsible for meeting business or client needs.
- Develop project plans, goals, and budgets; identify necessary resources.
- Develop schedules and methods for measuring results.
- Guide and perform strategic analysis for projects.
- Organize and manage all project phases to ensure on-time completion and successful system deployment.
- Assemble and coordinate project team members; assign individual responsibilities.
- Prepare requests for proposals and conduct meetings to facilitate the selection of project services and products.
- Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications.
- Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
- Conduct risk assessments for projects and implement mitigation strategies.
Job Requirement
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Professional qualification in IT Project Management.
- At least 6 years of experience implementing major IT infrastructural/security systems, with at least 2 years in a project management or project leadership role.
- Prior experience operating servers, networks, and/or IT security systems in a medium-to-large organization is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to work and communicate with all levels of staff.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and relevant tools. Specific tool names (JIRA, Confluence) are removed and generalized.
- Knowledge of cloud services and deployment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Open-minded, flexible, and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
