Job Description
Software Development and Integration
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications for web-based platforms.
- Integrate with backend systems, including the usage of APIs and messaging technologies.
Quality Assurance and Scrum Practices
- Improve software quality using Scrum practices such as code review and unit testing.
- Assist QA/Testers with test automation and bug fixing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Assist Product Owners and Business Analysts on user story refinement.
- Assist DevOps teams on build and release automation.
Documentation
- Prepare interface specifications and other design documentation as required.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science.
Experience & Knowledge
- At least 5 years of experience with web application development using the .NET Framework.
- Strong foundational knowledge including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Fast learner with a proactive attitude and an eye for quality work.
- Team player with an inclusive mindset to collaborate effectively in a diverse team.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with development on public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience with microservices application development.
- Experience developing platform-level features such as configuration management, service discovery and routing, feature switches, and A/B testing.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, AMQP, MQTT, or others.
- Experience with Java and understanding of database schema design.
- Experience with Maven, Nexus, or Artifactory.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Bamboo or Jenkins.
- Scrum certified with experience working in Scrum projects.
