We have one sibling in India with around 1000 engineers, focusing on embedded software development.

Toshiba Corporate-level research centers, including the Corporate Research & Development Center (RDC), the Corporate Software Engineering & Technology Center (SWC) and the Corporate Manufacturing Engineering Center (CMC), pursue group-wide R&D in basic technologies, while development centers support each business group. Networking with other R&D facilities outside Japan, we assure that Toshiba can conduct cutting-edge R&D and software development around the world.
