Job Description
Threat Hunting & Detection
- Perform direct threat hunting (malware scanning) for critical systems to identify potential compromises.
- Perform indirect threat hunting based on APT (Advanced Persistent Threat) tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Detect and analyze malware components using advanced scanning tools and techniques.
Malware Analysis & Reverse Engineering
- Conduct basic reverse engineering and analysis of malware on Windows (Worm, Trojan, Ransomware, Botnet).
- Conduct basic reverse engineering and analysis of malware on Linux (Worm, Trojan, Ransomware, Botnet).
- Perform advanced reverse engineering and analysis of complex malware on Windows (APT malware).
- Perform advanced reverse engineering and analysis of complex malware on Linux (APT malware).
- Analyze and reverse engineer sophisticated threats such as Rootkits and Bootkits.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics, or related fields.
Experience & Knowledge
- Proven experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering.
- Strong knowledge of scanning and detecting malware components.
- Understanding of basic Malware techniques (Persistence, hook, keylogging, credential dumping, reconnaissance, USB/LAN/Email spreading, file encryption, etc.).
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in using scanning tools: Autoruns, Procexp, TCPView, PCHunter.
- Proficient in Linux scanning commands (ls, ps, netstat, cat, iptables, last, lastlog).
- English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650 or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
