Job Description
Partner Sourcing & Closing
- Identify, pitch, and contract local businesses (BPOs, agencies, hospitality, retail, etc.) to serve as data collection partners.
- Act independently to source and close partnerships without a pre-built playbook.
In-Country Operations & Performance Management
- Manage partner performance, quality, compliance, and delivery against targets once contracts are live.
- Manage performance-based partner or contractor relationships, including directly handling underperformers.
Team Building & Leadership
- Hire and manage a local operations team, including field supervisors and operations staff.
- Solve problems independently and flag blockers early through proactive communication.
KPI Ownership
- Take single-point accountability for delivering hours targets, active partner counts, and pilot success rates.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience & Knowledge
- 5–6 years of experience in operations, partnerships, or business development at a high-growth platform company (gig economy, logistics, ride-hailing, food delivery, or e-commerce).
- Proven experience managing field teams or distributed contractor operations at scale.
- Track record of personally owning and hitting aggressive volume or revenue KPIs.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in English (required) and Vietnamese.
- Strong commercial instincts with the ability to source, pitch, and close partners independently.
- Bias to action: ability to build structure from scratch and solve problems before escalating.
Personality & Attitude
- Motivated by outcomes and ownership rather than titles or hierarchy.
- Capable of handling high-intensity work, including extended availability during launch and ramp-up periods.
