Job Description
Logistics & Supply Chain Operations
- Manage daily logistics activities, including transportation planning, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to streamline import/export operations.
- Monitor shipment tracking and resolve any logistical bottlenecks or delays to maintain business continuity.
Process Optimization & Compliance
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with customs regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory control purposes.
Coordination & Performance Management
- Collaborate with sales, production, and procurement teams to align logistics planning with operational requirements.
- Track and report on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs), such as delivery lead times and transportation costs.
- Supervise and guide the logistics team to enhance operational productivity and service quality.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation coordination.
- Solid understanding of international trade, customs procedures, and warehousing operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in logistics management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and coordinate with various stakeholders simultaneously.
Personality & Attitude
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
- Proactive in identifying logistics risks and implementing preventive solutions.
