Job Description
Technical and Development
- Responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of custom Shopify applications (Public and Private Apps), ensuring high security, performance, and scalability.
- Proficiently utilize Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL) and manage Webhooks to extend functionality and integrate third-party services.
- Design and maintain high-performance backend services using Java (Spring Boot/Microservices) or .NET (C# / ASP.NET Core), leveraging AWS services and databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Ensure strict compliance with Shopify API rate limits and implement efficient data retrieval strategies using queuing mechanisms.
Leadership and Management
- Serve as the Tech Lead within projects, making critical decisions on architecture, code standards, and overall product quality.
- Lead and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the codebase is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on development approaches and team processes.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent fields.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Shopify application development (Public and Private Apps).
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, or .NET and ASP.NET.
- Experience in frontend development using ReactJS or TypeScript.
- Experience with testing and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Postman, and JMeter.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries and testing APIs.
- Proven experience in a leadership position.
