Job Description

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies based on project needs, scope, and client requirements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews) for Agile-based projects and lead Waterfall project planning sessions, ensuring smooth project execution across all stages.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define and refine project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop, track, and update detailed project plans for both Agile and Waterfall projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Ensure proper risk management processes are in place for both Agile and Waterfall projects, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Drive resource allocation, making sure that teams are properly staffed and projects stay on track.
• Ensure transparency in project status, risks, and issues by providing regular, clear communication to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor project teams on both Agile and Waterfall best practices, promoting an environment of continuous improvement and learning.
• Facilitate the integration of Agile and Waterfall practices when necessary, ensuring a seamless transition between methodologies as required by specific project phases.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, and projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, managing their expectations and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and business needs

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar certifications.
• 6+ years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years leading Agile projects and 3+ years managing Waterfall projects.
• Proven experience delivering complex projects using both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall principles, with the ability to apply the appropriate methodology based on project needs and client requirements.
• Expertise in managing large-scale IT projects with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Trello, etc.) and an understanding of how to use them across both Agile and Waterfall projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in risk management, resource planning, scheduling, and budgeting for large projects.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines.

Prefered skills and experiences:

• Experience in scaling Agile practices (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) for large organizations.
• Familiarity with hybrid project management approaches that blend Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based development environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) and moder software development tools.
• Previous experience in IT services or consulting industries is a plus.
