Job Description

Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee the recruitment process including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection to provide the right talents appropriately and timely.
  • Utilize metrics to create hiring dashboards and identify areas for improvement such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.

Talent Pipeline

  • Identify, attract, and nurture potential candidates for future job openings.
  • Engage and collaborate with educational institutions and organizations to build a talent pipeline through career fairs, internships, and events.

Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Make salary proposals and offers for successful hires.
  • Manage and coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Implement a structured offboarding process including exit interviews to gather feedback and insights.

Employee Relations

  • Manage employee relations, addressing and resolving concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in compliance with labor laws.

Employee Engagement

  • Lead initiatives to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Coordinate engagement activities, wellness programs, and team-building events.

HR Policies and Compliance

  • Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of Vietnamese labor laws to ensure the company’s HR practices remain compliant.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Manage compensation and benefits programs rolled out from the Singapore office including salary structures and benefits management.
  • Execute staff welfare benefits for employees such as gifts for occasions.

Learning and Development

  • Work with managers to identify training needs and roll out internal and external training and development programs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.

Performance Management

  • Support the implementation of performance management processes to drive employee productivity and growth.

Payroll Administration

  • Oversee payroll processing and approvals to ensure payroll records are accurate and properly maintained.
  • Ensure all personal income tax and SHUI matters are correct and compliant with the law.

HR Administration

  • Oversee HR administrative tasks including leave management and personnel recordkeeping.
  • Maintain accurate HR records including personnel files, attendance, leave, and performance records.

HR Metrics and Reporting

  • Prepare regular HR reports and HR metrics.
  • Analyze HR data and provide insights for management to support informed decision-making.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • HR certification is a plus.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Assistant HR Manager or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Vietnam’s labor laws, regulations, and employment practices.
  • Good understanding of HR best practices.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information discreetly.

Languages

  • Fluent in both English and Vietnamese (written and spoken), equivalent to IELTS 6.5.
