Job Description
- Define and refine delivery frameworks involving solution creation, work productivity enhancements and people capability development
- Creating delivery efficiency models with focus on cost optimization through quality, productivity gains, and customer satisfaction and ensuring execution of projects in a timely manner within budgets
- Review and monitor lifecycle processes for critical projects and oversee compliance for all other projects on parameters such as schedule and effort overruns, customer issues, quality parameters, account-level operating margins, risks, etc.
- Ensure effective delivery by regular business reviews and risk mitigation strategies
- Serve as the Point of Contact (PIC) for all escalated issues
Driving Operational Excellence
- Collaborates with all the stakeholders of the project, making sure the BAU/project activities are executed on time
- Take ownership of the project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and adherence to budget constraints
- Monitor project status and employee performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues that may impact operations
- Being dynamic in troubleshooting the issues, and in providing alternate solutions for any given problem
- Foresee issues and upfront highlight to the management, provide/suggests solution options
- Establishes new processes & controls wherever necessary that increase the overall productivity of the team
- Maintains high standards in documentation/ managing & versioning artifacts for all the system changes irrespective of the type of the project (major/ minor)
- Defining /refining the dashboards to capture all the key parameters of importance, set up systemic mechanisms that monitor them continuously and consistently use these to ensure operational health and timely remediation of any operational risks
- Continually improving systems and processes that provide analytical intelligence on operating parameters and drivers to the team
- Review of C-SAT results and drive the improvement of the same within the Delivery organization
- Manage vendors, ensuring adherence to group standards and delivery of high-quality services.
- Resource Management & Talent Development
- Manage IT professionals, ensuring optimal resource utilization and allocation across projects
- Develop and foster a positive and professional working environment, ensuring all employees adhere to the policies of the group and promoting a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement
- Ensuring the recruitment of right talents, high level of employee engagement and satisfaction
- Deploying robust performance management processes with competency and career development opportunities to engage, retain, and develop a committed and skilled workforce
- Provide informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback in the annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent.
Job Requirement
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in supervising an Application Management Team
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Proven experience in establishing new teams, including recruitment, technical assessment, and cultural fit evaluation
- Extended background in large organization (500+ employees) governance processes and ability to adhere to governance guidelines
- Extended knowledge of low-code platforms, cloud computing, microservice, AI, and various modern technology stacks
- Good understanding and experience with various frameworks and infrastructure
- Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery
- Experience in resource allocation and utilization, as well as vendor management
- Demonstrated leadership experience in building and maintaining a positive and professional team culture
- Excellent communication/stakeholder skills and emotional intelligence to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts, and build consensus
- Thrives in ambiguous and complex environments with ability to analyze, make decisions and overcome show-stoppers/difficulties
